Luke was my latest smiler. And when he first started, he would only smile for those who were really invested. A casual passerby wouldn't get a smile. But if he thought you were sticking around for a while, he might oblige. Now he's just the boy who won't smile for the camera. That little gray box pops up and the smile machine shuts down.
